as it stands, i will never ever be ‘diabetes free’
also, type 2 is strongly linked to the rising obesity rates. also age, and other lifestyle factors. no-one in my family has type 1 and i have none of the risk factors. my immune system just went mental one day and now i’m fucked for life. i’m not trying to say that every type 2 is fat, or being fat gives you diabetes
i am merely expressing my woe that there is no way for me to ‘control’ my diabetes apart from injections which are horrid
